Integrated Communication Command Control (IC3) is a software platform designed for hosting customized operations & mission management applications. IC3 platform is used to develop and execute Mission Management, Integrated Warfare Management, Airport Operations Management and Traffic Management applications.
IC3 is real-time platform that integrates the networks and operations. The platform integrates the operations resources, services and information through the communication systems in to access networks. IC3 builds a secured internetwork of locations and centers and implements System-Wide Information Management (SWIM). SWIM is available to the entire organization through a single point connectivity. IC3 provides the application environment and hosts the applications with the resources, data and services required to perform the operations. IC3 implements the operations management process to plan and execute mission-critical tasks. IC3 software platform is designed with the following features required to support safety & mission critical applications.
IC3 provides an application hosting environment. Applications are user configurable. The application environment implements services required for planning and execution of operations and mission applications.
IC3 Unified Secure Communication Service integrates the resources through wired, wireless, static and mobile connectivity.
IC3 implements filed, local and super networks to interconnect the operations across the levels of command & control hierarchy.
The Resource Management Service maintains the real-time status of the operations resources. Resources include people, operations equipment, communication equipment, navigation equipment, command & control clients, sensors, networks, information sources, transport vehicles and service providers.
Operation and mission are planned and executed in the IC3. Resources are assigned to a plan and the status is continually monitored against the plan. IC3 re-plans the operation/mission activity when exception or failure occurs.
IC3 System-wide Information Management (SWIM) maintains the status of each resource and plan. The information is system-wide synchronized in real-time. Resource-racing and task conflicts are resolved by the SWIM.
SWIM maintains the status of the entire system of resources and activities. Real-time status of an item is presented in the contexts of filed, local, regional and central views. Geospatial, graphical, video, audio and overlays presentations are inbuilt in to IC3.
Context-based Information Routing ability determines the sources-destinations of information in real-time operation and mission context. This feature ensures that the required information for an operation and mission is automatically transferred from its respective source(s) to the destination(s) at the required time.
IC3 implements What-If-Scenario analytics on the SWIM and the plans in execution. It derives alternatives for the plans approaching an exception or failure. Best-effort alternatives are proposed to restore the mission.
Health Monitor performs prognostics and diagnostics on the resources and the IC3 internal functions. Health Monitor coordinates with the System Performance and System Availability functions to maintain the system at the required performance and availability levels.
IC3 implements multilayered end-to-end security against the threats and vulnerabilities. The security protocols and encryption algorithms are configurable by the user.
IC3 System Performance function monitors the internal system metrics and Health Monitor’s reports. It implements prediction algorithms to forecast the system performance. It reports the performance status and predictions for administrator’s actions.
IC3 System Availability function monitors the computing, communication and network resources. It automatically activates the redundancy configurations when a predefined exception, degradation or failure pattern occurs. It alerts the administrator when undefined exception, degradation or failures is detected.
IC3 provides customizable report templates. IC3 reports the status of system performance, availability, integrity and security. IC3 reports give the status of the resources and the planned operations and missions.
